We are reviewing Compass and deciding wether it is a good fit for our organization.
At this time, we are only interrested in using Compass as a Software Catalog with main focus on dependecies.
The Scorecard feature is therefore not needed. Are there any way to hide this functionality so that to avoid confusing and reduce cognitive load?
Hi @Andreas Rosnes Bade ,
In Jira Compass, while there isn't a built-in way to completely hide the Scorecard feature, you can work around this limitation to minimize its visibility and reduce confusion:
Permission Restrictions: Ensure that users who don't need access to the Scorecard feature have limited permissions to view or interact with it. You can configure user roles and permissions to restrict access to specific areas like Scorecards.
UI Customization: Although Compass itself doesn't allow for extensive UI customization like hiding specific tabs, you could use browser-based extensions or scripts to hide certain elements from the UI. This requires technical knowledge but could help remove Scorecard-related UI components.
Thanks for the answer! We'll see if we can retrict permissions.

Hi Andres
To clarify, there is no permission in Compass that turns off Scorecards entirely. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
