Do you remember the last time you took a trip? It could have been a few hours, a few days or much longer than that. Whatever the case, I'm willing to bet that some things didn't go as planned.
Traffic might have been worse than you anticipated or construction might have blocked your intended route, forcing you to head in a different direction in order to reach your destination.
The same is also true for longterm interests, including our careers, our relationships or family plans, even our lifelong hobbies. When we run into these situations, are we able to see obstacles as temporary? Or do we let them distract us from what we're trying to achieve?
How do you keep your focus on the eventual goal with your CUG, instead of getting caught up in last event's low attendance, a lack of topics or shorter Q&A time than you'd have hoped for? When investing time and effort into organizing an event, these outcomes can all be discouraging. What are your tips for meeting needs with your CUG?
