Hi,
We want to enable pipelines for our repository. When clicking "Enable Pipelines", however, the button icon showed a tick greyed out. And it resumed back to not enabled after refreshing the page.
Would someone tell me how to enable pipelines for the bitbucket repository?
Hi Dong,
Please try to enable 2FA before switching on this repository setting for security purposes, if this does not work - I would suggest asking a workspace administrator to attempt this as well as you may not have the necessary access.
If this is still failing, I would suggest clearing your browser cache completely (or using Incognito mode in Chrome) before attempting again.
Please let me know how this goes.
Cheers!

Dear Ben,
Thank you for your response.
This is my private repository so I may be the administrator for myself. I have retried after enabling 2FA and still got the same result.
Regards,
Dong

Hey Dong,
What happens when you click the "View bitbucket-pipelines.yml" button? Does it bring you to the initial setup wizard? I'd also recommend clicking the Pipelines tab in the repository source which should also trigger the setup wizard.
If you manage to see the wizard, complete it using basic pipelines template and then make modifications afterwards - the completion of this wizard should trigger the full enablement of pipelines.
If you are unable to, please let me know.
Cheers!

Hi Ben,
It shows as the screenshot below after clicking the 'View bitbucket-pipelines.yml' button. There is no initial setup wizard.
Sincerely,
Dong

Hey Dong,
I'd suggest deleting that Pipelines YML you've created and attempting to go through the setup wizard again, I have a feeling Bitbucket is getting confused somehow and is thinking that it's already been setup. Please also attempt this on a new repository and let me know if the result is any different.
If this still fails, please let me know.
Cheers!

Hi Ben,
I have tried to delete the pipeline script and re-create the whole repository. However, it brings the same as the screenshot below.

Dong
