I just sign up to bitbucket and has added to a project and even made several repositories for test and can't clone any of them whether using ssh key or https URL.
error for https:
"fatal: unable to access 'https://myname@bitbucket.org/myname/test2.git/' Empty reply from server during cloning a repository"
then I reinstall git and error changed to:
"fatal: unable to access 'https://myname@bitbucket.org/myname/test2.git/': HTTP/2 stream 0 was not closed cleanly: STREAM_CLOSED (err 5)"
and error for ssh key always is:
"ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.
Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists."
can you help me to solve this?
The error messages listed here - "empty reply", "stream not closed cleanly", and "connection closed by remote host" - all suggest that something in the network between your system and Bitbucket is preventing traffic. Are you using a proxy of some kind?
true, bitbucket blocked Iran IP and I have to use VPN so I tried some different VPNs but errors didn't change ...
thank you, Jim.
