Why it git install not part of the Bitbucket Data Center install instructions?

It seems that there was some effort was put in by Atlassian to document the steps for installing Bitbucket Data Center but I have noticed a gapping hole in their instructions.

On this page: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/bitbucket-data-center-requirements-913477100.html

They fail to mention that bitbucket will on start without a working git.  That should be listed as a requirement or prerequisite on this page as well:

The Git requirement is listed under Supported platforms and the main Install or upgrade Bitbucket Server, but I agree that it is a bit hidden and should be more visible.
