Where did the Bitbucket search function go?

bitbucket.org used to have a search function to search within repositories. It seems to be gone (tested with both Firefox and Safari). Where is it?

After logging in, you will find the 'magnifying glass' icon that is used for searching on the left hand side:

Clicking that icon will open this screen:

Ok I see, logging in is the answer. Why on earth would that functionality be limited to logged-in users?
