Where can i find Application access page?

Leslie Huang April 17, 2017

Hi,

I'm setting JIRA with Gitlab by following https://docs.gitlab.com/ce/user/project/integrations/jira.html#configuring-jira.

And the problem is that I can't find my application access tag under user managment tag or anywhere else.

Can anyone tell me how to bring it out or anyway else to access the page?

By the way, I'm useing JIRA 6.3.12 and Gitlab CE 9.0.4.

Application access is available as from JIRA 7, so you won't find it in JIRA 6.3.12.

Application access manages your licensed users and has been introduced with the split up of JIRA into separate applications JIRA Software, JIRA Core and JIRA Service Desk.

Version 6.3.12 is still just 'JIRA', with Service Desk being an add-on and software functionalities being offered through JIRA Agile, which is also an add-on.

If you need to grant your Gitlab user access to JIRA, you will probably have to add the user the jira-users group and then grant it all necessary privileges to the different projects where this is required.
