Hi,
I am relatively new to Git and have been using GitHub, it has come to my attention that github.com repositories are hosted in the US (or at least, there is no guarantee that they won't be). Therefore, the data on them is subject to US export control (ITAR etc).
If I use an Atlassian Bit bucket cloud account hosted by Atlassian, can I ensure the data is physically at any particular datacenter location?
Put another way, if I use an Atlassian Bit buscket cloud account, hosted by Atlassian... What export legislation should I ensure that I am in keeping with?
Important question! Shame on Atlassian that they don't bother to answer this
