VSCode Extension not able to see comments in Inline View

Question

Able to connect to BitBucket cloud just fine.   Can see comments exist on the treeview that displays the PR details.  However, can't see the comments in VS Code when viewing the reviewing the files.  This use to work great.   I have upgraded to 3.0.9 version and still an issue.

This is a bug with the newer versions of the extension, the bug is tracked in the extension's repository here:

You can add your vote to this issue to indicate you are affected and you can also add yourself as a watcher if you'd like to get notified via email on updates.

In the meantime, you could try installing an older version of VSCode and the extension where this feature works:
