uploaded a repository of 7GB but it seems to be less than 2GB in my bitbucket cloud.
Hi @Vinayakam R K, thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community.
I understand that you have a repository that locally is showing 7GB, however when you push it to Bitbucket Cloud, the repository size is 2GB, is that correct? If that’s the case, it might be because some files are being tracked as LFS, or Git is compressing some files in the repository. In order to check this, you can open your Repository settings and confirm if you have any Git Large File Storage. In case you don’t have it, when you open the source page of this repo on Bitbucket Cloud, is there any file showing a large size?
Also, we don’t recommend having a repository of 7GB, as we have some size limits on Bitbucket Cloud as you can read here:
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Caroline
