To whom it may concern:

I am running some repositories at Bitbucket, it is all free and open source stuff.

I would like to use Gittyup to manage each one, but i am finding myself unable to log in from Gittyup giving user and password. It tells me "Bitbucket requires autentication" and i get a "failed connection" message on it.

I would like to ask if someone could help me to set up this app, since i am on Fedora and neither Windows or Mac Git apps are an option to me.

Just let me thank you for your attention.

G'day, @wave

Welcome to the community.

Have you tried using the username and App Password combination to see if that works?

Bitbucket doesn't use an account password to authenticate with git. This includes any 3rd party git application. So please try to use the username and App Password combination to see if that works.

Syahrul
