Why can't I upload a local file directly when adding a file to the repository?

Hi @daidao88

Thank you for reaching out to the community.

Commonly, you won't be able to push to your master branch due to a branch permission setting.
For this, would it be possible for you to check your repository if you have the branch permission setting related to the master branch?

  1. Go to your repository
  2. Click Repository settings
  3. Click Branch restrictions
  4. Find the setting for your master branch

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Mark C
