Not able to find source branch in search while creating a new branch

I have been facing this issue where I'm not able to find uat branch in From Branch drop down (Attached image). Is there any other way to do it online only and not using SourceTree to create a branch.

Hi @Ayushmaan Bahukhandi and welcome to the community.

When you create a branch on Bitbucket website, the "From Branch" dropdown displays only 25 branches and I'm afraid that it doesn't pull best/exact matches first. We have a bug report about this in our issue tracker:

You can add yourself as a watcher (by selecting the Start watching this issue link in the bug report) if you'd like to get notified via email on any updates. You can also select the This affects my team link to indicate you are affected by this issue.

Until the bug is fixed, the only workaround is to create the branch locally and push it.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

Kind regards,
