Merging a PR, why can only one of my developers can see "transition issue" checkbox?

My Bitbucket / Jira link has had its share of slip-ups around changing the ticket status to "Done" when we merge a PR but this is the weirdest: the developer responsible for merging the PR couldn't see the checkbox to transition the issue (normally they see the checkbox), but one of my lead developers checking into the anomaly could.

Why is this happening? How can we fix it?

Thanks

Hi Jonathan and welcome to the community!

I would first suggest ruling out any browser issues. Is the developer responsible for merging using one of our supported browsers?

If yes, and if the issue is still occurring with this specific or a different PR:

  • can they reproduce the issue on an Incognito/Private window of the browser with all browser addons disabled?
  • can they reproduce the issue on a different supported browser?

If so, I would suggest creating a support ticket as we would probably need to get a HAR file from the developer to investigate further. You can create a ticket via https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/, in "What can we help you with?" select "Technical issues and bugs" and then Bitbucket Cloud as product. You can add the developer as a participant in the ticket so that they share any info we may need to investigate this.

Kind regards,
Theodora
