Is there a way to turn off Projects?

Label me the dissenting voice but I'm not a fan of the new Projects setup.  Is there a way to turn it off?

Specifically the reason I don't like it is the new setup took away our project icons.  We had icons for all of our customers that are now gone/missing.  Instead the icon that shows up is in relation to the Project its part of.  I would like to go back to each Repo being it's own island.  Is that possible?

I'm sorry we may not have gotten it exactly right on the first iteration, but it's not possible to turn it off. All team repositories are always in a project.

The avatar change is something others have raised too and worth looking into. I'd recommend raising issues for this and other things you run into on the public issue tracker.
