Hi Atlassian team,
My organization uses the ticket ID in the branch name, to allow us to quickly hop onto the ticket from the branch name itself.
whenever an old branch tries to take a pull form the master branch all the ticket references of the other branches are attached to this PullRequest, and all the tickets are marked as Warnings in the project dashboard.
How can we unlink these irrelevant tickets from the PullRequest?
Hello @siddhesh nayak ,
and welcome to the Community!
In pull requests, the issue keys present in the title, branch name, or any commit pushed to the pull request will be linked with the respective issue key in Jira. You'll then see that pull request listed in those issue keys when you access them in Jira.
The fact that issue keys from the other branches are appearing might be caused by the way you're syncing the old branch with the master branch. When you say "whenever an old branch tries to take a pull form the master branch" could you elaborate on how you're doing this pull/merge and which merge strategy you're using ?
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Thank you, @siddhesh nayak !
