Hi,
We're trying to set up our internal Slack with our Bitbucket repos in order to receive notifications when a branch is merged for example. This is described in this document under "Subscribe Slack channels to Bitbucket repositories": https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/integrate-bitbucket-cloud-with-slack/ .
Since we use quite a lot of different repos we would like to automate the integration through a script, but couldn't find any documentation about how to do that using the API. Is that even possible? And if so what are the steps to follow please?
Thanks in advance
Welcome to the community.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to set up Slack in multiple repositories via API.
For now, you'll have to manually set up the Slack integration to subscribe to a channel for each repository.
We do have an existing feature request for it that can be located through this link. - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BCLOUD-16227
You can upvote and watch it for now so that you'll be notified of any updates from our team when the feature becomes available on Bitbucket Cloud.
Please do note that we don't have an exact ETA for the feature request as all new features will be implemented according to our policy here.
Do let me know if you have further questions that I can help with.
Regards,
Mark C
