If there is a way to get http access token without creating a consumer, using curl..Please mention it to me..I am a developer...
I think, if you don't want to go the Oauth way, you should use app passwords. (But note that these are tied to user accounts.)
So, how can we use app passwords? can we use it as access tokens?? or is there a way to use those to access the details??

As you can see, the username and the app password together can used as a BASIC auth token (very easy, standard way).
