How can I move Deployments between Deployment types?

On the Deployment config page, we would like to be able to move a Deployment between Deployment Types, while maintaining the deployment variables attached to it.

For context; we would like Bitbucket reporting to measure release frequency as deploying to the final environment. At the start of a project, Dev will be the final env for reporting purposes. When we add Test, Stage, Prod, they will each become the final env, with the others shifted to Staging or Test deployment types.

Currently, we can only reorder within a deployment type.

Hi @Nick Heath

Thank you for reaching out to the community.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to move a deployment between deployment types.
However, I believe that feature is beneficial for you and other users as well.
Hence, I went ahead and created a feature request for it that can be located through this link. - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BCLOUD-23097

In the meantime, please feel free to upvote and watch the existing feature request through the provided link so that you'll be notified of any updates on its progress.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to improve Bitbucket Cloud according to our policy on implementing new features.

Regards,
Mark C
