Hi, i want to clone bitbucket repository to a folder lacated in ubuntu sever but i am getting the folllowing error : remote: Bitbucket Cloud recently stopped supporting account passwords for Git authentication.

Hey @Mahamadou 

Welcome to the community.

The error means you are authenticating with your account password, which we no longer accept, as mentioned in our blog here.

The Workaround is to use App Passwords as your password authentication credentials instead of your Atlassian account password.
