I need a bot that can access repos and trigger Bitbucket pipelines.
I have created one called ABC Bot but the issue is where this is a bot, we can not use MFA.
Is there a way to disable MFA on bot accounts?

Hi @Goutham AJ ,

Just to make sure we understand the request, do you have the feature 'Require two-step verification' enabled and do you want to bypass it just for this bot account?

May I ask why it is not possible to use 2FA on this account?

I'm afraid that it is not possible to exclude accounts from the 2FA requirement at the moment. We have a feature request for this which was closed due to inactivity, however, if you're interested in this, just let me know and I can go ahead and reopen it: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BCLOUD-14462

Kind regards,
Theodora

You'd want to use App passwords as further described here: https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/app-passwords/
