I'm an Atlassian admin in my team and responsible for setting up new workspaces. This week I tried to create a workspace following my usual steps (creating frim Bitbucket), but found out that the 'Create Workspace' button disappeared and now I need to create a new workspace from Jira/Atlassian site.
And as I do it, it's unclear how Bitbucket workspace permissions
translates to only 2 new permissions:
Can anybody please help me to understand what happened, is it only me who sees the change (maybe I did something wrong)?
Thanks!
G'day, @isiljanovski
Welcome to the community!
I understand how there might be some confusion, and I'm happy to provide additional context.
With the integration of the new workspace and Admin Hub, you no longer need to grant permissions at the workspace level. Instead, user and group management is handled within each project, allowing you to organize users based on the projects they are working on.
In summary, you grant groups a product access through the Admin Hub, create a project within the Bitbucket workspace, and then assign the groups to that project with the necessary read, write, or admin permissions. Please refer to our documentation below for detailed information on project permission levels:
