Connect Bitbucket to Jira Cloud and Jira Data Center

Dear community,

For testing cases we need to test to connect one Bitbucket Cloud instance to Jira Software cloud AND Jira Software data center. Would it be possible? 

We need the Bitbucket connectivity tests before migrating the projects.

Hi Stefan,

You can connect a Bitbucket Cloud workspace to both a Jira Cloud instance and Jira Software Data Center.

Please keep in mind that if you have a project with the same key in Jira Cloud and Jira Software Data Center, the links in any Bitbucket commits that reference issues from this project will reference only one instance. For example, if both Cloud and Data Center have a project with the key TEST and a Bitbucket commit references the issue TEST-5, then TEST-5 will become a link to the Jira instance you linked to Bitbucket first.
