Checkout not creating the git command

I opened a branch today and clicked on the "Checkout" button that normally pulls up a dialog with the git fetch command stored in it, however today it only had the branch name. Is there a problem with this feature not generating the commands anymore?

Hi, @kvanbooven

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

I discussed this with the dev team and they confirmed that it was intentional and it’s part of the following feature request:

Please let me know if you have any additional questions regarding this case.

Kind regards,

This is a stupid new Feature... I used this command  multiple times per day (also my colleagues). Now we have to type the command manually...

Please revert this Feature!

Agreed. Thank you for commenting on the original request as well. Please restore the old functionality and add a new feature for the new functionality.

Hi, @kvanbooven and @Dominik Hagen

The dev team shared some details about the reason they have removed this from Bitbucket, you can check the following feature request to see their comment:

I suggest that you add your vote there (by selecting the Vote for this issue link) as the number of votes helps the development team and product managers better understand the demand for new features.

You are more than welcome to leave any feedback, and you can also add yourself as a watcher (by selecting the Start watching this issue link) if you'd like to get notified via email on updates.

Implementation of new features is done as per our policy here and any updates will be posted in the feature request.

Kind regards,

Agreed with the previous posts. This is very stupid. Instead of add value to the product just change the behavior. If it is easier, why do I need care about the users?
