Cannot add SSH Key

milos.cancarevic March 19, 2022

Hi,

I cannot re-add my SSH key to my account.

I keep getting this error:

"Someone has already added that key as an access key to a repository"
but that key was previously deleted from my account.

Adding this output:

ssh -Ti id_rsa git@bitbucket.org
authenticated via ssh key.

You can use git to connect to Bitbucket. Shell access is disabled

I kindly ask you for a quick help here,
BR,
Miloš

I've managed to resolve this. What the issue was - In one of my repositories, I had set up an SSH key in the Access Keys section, so it was stopping me to add it to my personal account as well. I removed it from the repository and successfully added it to the profile SSH keys.

Hi, Miloš, welcome to the community!

As we will need to know the public ssh key to further investigate this case, I have created an internal ticket for you using the email of your community account, so you don't have to share this information here.

You should have received an email with a link to the support ticket. Just in case you haven't received it, please feel free to let me know and I can post the ticket URL here. The ticket will be visible only to you and Atlassian staff, no one else can view its contents even if they have the URL.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

Kind regards,
Caroline

Previously changed my email address for the account, but didn't have this key... I removed it and want to add it back again.
