I am admin of my team and neither me nor my teammates cannot click the user to get access to user profile and see the statistics and progress, just like github (even JIRA supports this).

Spent a lot of time by checking the permission/settings... didn't have a clue why we cannot do this ...

I don't believe this is currently supported in Cloud, but it is being reviewed.

No problem, 

 

I don't believe there is anything out of the box to enable this, possibly a 3rd party add-on on the Atlassian Marketplace but I wouldn't be able to recommend any from the top of my head.
