Hi @ChuckieAJ
Thank you for contacting Atlassian Support, my name is Norbert and I'm a Bitbucket Cloud Support Engineer, it's nice to meet with you!
I would like to inform you that in case you use TortoiseGit with HTTPS, it fetches the password from your Windows' Git Credential Manager.
Steps to reach it is:
First, Go to Credentials like:
Right click → TortoiseGit → Settings → Git → Credential.
Then:
Select Credential helper: wincred - this repository only / wincred - current Windows user
Once you're there, feel free to change the password to the app passwords.
Related to Pageant: Pageant doesn't store the HTTPS password, this application is used for Git over SSH by storing your private keys.
Please let us know if you have any further question? We're here to help.
Best Regards,
Norbert
