In order to connect to BitBucketCloud from my company, could you answer my question below?

1) Did BitBucketCloud get access log?

2) If Yes, please advise how long access logs are stored in your server?

3) When incidents happen, is it possible to investigate access logs on your side?

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

  • Yes, Atlassian do have access logs
  • I understand that they are kept on the disk for 90 days, and included in the backups, so they are still retreivable for a couple of years (but over 90 days involves having to restore part of a backup, so it's not easy or quick to get to them).  Do not take my numbers as accurate, they were what I was told several years ago, and have probably changed.
  • Yes, Atlassian will investigate incidents for you if you have any.  You'll need to raise a support request to ask them to investigate

The first two answers here are utterly irrelevant to you though.  Bitbucket Cloud is provided as a service, it is not a server you can go rummaging around on.  Our access to our services is only to what the UI shows us, we will never get access to logs or other server files.  If there is an incident, it is part of the service for Atlassian to investigate.
