If you have not spent the last two weeks on a remote island, you have heard by now, that Atlassian announced on October 16th the end of server licenses. That is something we need to talk about.
So we decided to register for one of the stops in the Atlassian Cloud Migration roadshow - Elisabeth Howden, Product Marketing Manager in Atlassian's Cloud Migration Team will be our keynote speaker - and rent a virtual conference center on Hopin to have plenty of space to discuss where we want to go from here.
And this will be an open event, not only for Berliners and Brandenburgers, but we provide opportunities for as many voices from the Atlassian community and the ecosystem to make themselves heard as possible.
You can take part in our preparation and you can present yourself in our event, or - most importantly - attend free of charge.
We are collecting all information here: https://aug-bb.atlassian.net/l/c/ast1Cct0
Register preferably directly on Hopin here: https://hopin.to/events/leaving-serverland
That is something that you will have to do anywhere and you can avoid joining any of our other groups on Bevy or Meetup, if you want to keep your information overload in check. (But we very much would to have you either in:
Bevy: https://ace.atlassian.com/berlin-brandenburg/
or
Meetup: https://www.meetup.com/de-DE/ACBEBB/
or any other of our other information channels.
See you around
Hubert & Joerg
Cool.Great initiative. Hopefully it will not result in an "Leaving Atlassian" Event. At least this is what I understood from my customers so far.
Btw. The price increase together with the Server Topic at the same time, this is what killed trust.
I'll try to join on Nov 12th - thanks for organizating all the stuff!
I would have never thought there will be such a huge echo on Community about this topic as such - so let's hope for the best.
