version 5.12.31 all of a sudden the email telling that a build completed has stopped

no one can remember changing anything, however the build completion emails are no longer being issued.

The problem turned out to be that someone did make a change, they changed used TLS on the email configuration screen.   I changed it back to no, and all is good!
