I am having a problem setting up an Application link between Bamboo 6.6 and Stash 3.11 (yeah it is old). In Bamboo, on the "Configure Application Link" page, the status is "Network Error". Selecting "Edit" for the application link shows a java.lang.IllegalStateException (see the bottom for details). Googling found references to this exception, but it had to do with Bamboo Cloud being run in Java 1.6, rather than Java 1.8. We are running Java 1.8 on our server.
The above URL states that Stash 3.11 uses AppLinks 4.3 and Bamboo uses AppLinks 5.4.5. Is this just a case of Stash being too old (different major releases of AppLinks)? If so, it looks like we need to get to at least BitBucketServer 4.0? Or, is there another way to access Git repositories in Stash 3.11 from Bamboo 6.6?
Thanks, Maury

Okay, I figured out how to connect directly to the Stash git repository using a Git link rather than a BitBucket Server/Stash link. That answers my immediate problem.
However, it would still be nice to get a confirmation about my suspicion about the AppLinks versions in/compatibility, if anyone knows for sure.
Thanks again, Maury
