Publishing a bamboo spec substitutes '<' with '&lt;' from a non-related script task after publish

Hi

I am publishing bamboo java specs and I am able to successfully publish the plan. But post published, one of the script task got updated to which is not related to the changes I updated.

So from the script task the below line:

cat <<EOF > $file

changes to

cat &lt;&lt;EOF > $file

Any help here is much appreciated.
