I want to retain Bamboo logs and results for 30 days and artifacts to be deleted after 7 days.
I have overridden the global build expiry configuration for a Bamboo build plan and marked only the build logs to expire after 30 days. I want build artifacts and build results to expire as per global configuration, but still I see all of them retained.
Is it possible to configure different expiry for artifacts, logs, and results i.e. one as per overridden settings and others as per global in Bamboo.
Hello @Shriram Jaju
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Once you "Override global build expiry configuration", the expiry settings from the Plan will be activated, and the Global expiry settings will not be considered. This is by design.
If you want the custom expiry settings to follow some of the Global settings, duplicate that configuration on the overridden property.

Hi @Eduardo Alvarenga Thanks for quick reply. I am not seeing the option to configure expiry per build property(i.e. results, logs, artifacts). Please let me know if I am missing something.

There's no way to select an expiry per artifact as that's a Plan property. Hence, those settings will be applied to all build results for that Plan.
The properties are there on your provided screenshot. Just select "Build artifacts" or "Build logs" to choose each property individually. Or select "Build results" for both.

@Eduardo Alvarenga So if I select only the Build logs to expire in 30 days(as shown in screenshot above) does that mean build artifacts will be retained indefinitely? Or will it be deleted as per global config?
