How can i run a task with docker runner?

When I select the "Run this job in docker container" option under the "Isolate Build" subheader in "Edit docker configuration" I cannot run any tasks for that job.

For example I have a task that just runs the executable /bin/ls, but when I try to run the job, I get this error:

This task can't be executed in Docker. Use different task or run this build in Agent environment.

I have added the Docker executable as a shared remote capability.

So how can I run commands in my docker with docker runner?
