I'm currently running 2 instances of Bamboo Server 6.10.4 build 61009 on Windows Server 2012 R2. A development server and a Production server. The issue I am having is with the Dev server. A little less than a month ago (sometime between Christmas 2021 and New Years 2022), this server apparently stopped working without reason. I know this because the webpage was accessible before Christmas. Anyhow, I tried restoring this server from backups, but the server's service still does not start. I continually recieve this error:
"Windows could not start the Atlassian Bamboo service on Local Computer. Error 1067..."
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the service, as recommended here:
But this only resulted in another error that prompted me to check the Windows System event logs. And there was no straightforward answer in these logs.
I only have a 'Starter License' for this server, which means Atlassian support is not an option.
And I've tried all the items listed in the Atlassian Bamboo article for this issue, as well, to no avail:
Has anyone tried resolving this error by upgrading to version 8.x?
Would it be recommended to resolve the issue prior to attempting an upgrade?
Any guidance here would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, in advance. :-)
