We created a docker image that will serve as a docker runner. We installed a few tools that should be available and then added the installation path of the tools to the path. As an Example:
ENV PATH="$PATH:/root/.dotnet/tools:/opt/tool-1/"
When we then run a build on the image in Bamboo, the build would fail because it can't find the tool installed in the /root/.dotnet/tools folder.
Does this mean that bamboo runs the image in a detached manner so the the profile is not loaded and we need to inject these ourselves?
This ended up me having a path variable wrong. Fixing that fixed my issue.
