Cannot access Bamboo plans wallbaord with a direct URL link

Hello, 

I am working on wallboards and would like to display the Bamboo plans default wallboard by using a single URL link. This URL looks something like this:

https://bamboo.server.net/login.jsp?os_username=<my_username>&os_password=<my_password>&os_destination=telemetry.action

My Bamboo on bamboo.server.net has version 6.5.0 and just paste this link to the private chrome tab, everything works fine and I get my plans wallboard displayed.

But when I do exactly the same but change for my other Bamboo server bamboo.serverNumber2.net which is on 7.0.3, I get login.jsp:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 () 

https://bamboo.serverNumber2.net/login.jsp?os_username=<my_username>&os_password=<my_password>&os_destination=telemetry.action

What could be the reason and how can I fix it?

welcome to the Atlassian Community!

While I found the URL you mentioned corresponding with the one in documentation:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/bamboo/displaying-the-wallboard-289276971.html

I am not sure about the authentication part (os_username).
Probably this was just removed during the step somewhere in between v6.5.0 and v7.0.3 as there is a potential risk of spying out your provided password in the URL (at least for some cases this could apply).

Does the wallboard load when you manually open it?
