Our current running BAMBOO of server type version 8.0.5 can be migrated to  Open JDK or Adoptium OpenJDK Java 11 / JDK 8 ?

We have another JIRA (8.20.12) which also needs to be migrate the DK to Open JDK 8/11.

In both cases, can I use Open JDK 8/11 to be migrated? please help me to decide this to avoid future consequences

Hello Devendar Gangapuram,

Welcome to Atlassian community.

As per https://confluence.atlassian.com/bamboo0800/supported-platforms-1077778398.html you can migrate Bamboo version 8.0.5 to Open JDK or Adoptium OpenJDK Java 11 / JDK 8.

Java 8 has removed as supported platform from Bamboo 9.3, so considering future options you should move to Java 11.

Regards,

Shashank kumar
