Bamboo install error on windows

I am getting an error while running start-bamboo.bat in windows..can someone tell me what could be the issue. I have installed JRE, JDK 9 version installed, and JAVA_HOME set. Thanks.

-Djava.endorsed.dirs=c:\bamboo\endorsed is not supported. Endorsed standardsand standalone APIs
in modular form will be supported via the concept of upgradeable modules.
Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.

JDK 9 is not supported yet, please use JDK 8: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bamboo/supported-platforms-289276764.html
