I have an upstream system that calls an Incoming Webhook where the JQL looks for a match of the incoming data with a pre-existing issue in Jira. It works great if the record exists.

But I want take alternative set of actions if the webhook doesn't match.

What's the best way to handle this?

Hi @Martin Cleaver ,

We don't support this yet, but are tracking this request at https://codebarrel.atlassian.net/browse/AUT-358

There isn't really any workaround unfortunately.

Cheers,
Andreas

Hi @Martin Cleaver

Would you please provide more details/context to help the community give you ideas?  Perhaps post an image of your automation rule and the JQL that you want to have "no results" take action.  Thanks!

Best regards,

Bill
