Hi everyone, how are you?
I am trying to do an automation that sends a notification when an Epic is marked as done, but any child issue, bug, tasks or stories are in any other status besides Done,
I am using Smart Values but I am not sure how to retrieve information from the child issues,
Sorry if this is a simple question, I am pretty new to this
Hi @Ramiro Fontes - welcome to the community,
could you provide a screenshot of your current automation rule/how far you‘ve gotten so far?
Furthermore:
Would jo just like to send a notification or should the transition of the epic be denied when any child issue is not done?
Best
Stefan
Hi Stefan! Thanks for the welcome :)
I think I actually was able to do it, we have some custom fields already that check the amount of child issues a task or epic has, and another one that checks the amount that is marked as done,
So I made a simple automation that is triggered when a issue is marked as done, and if it finds that the total of child issues is higher that the amount of child issues in "Done", it sends a notification to the Assignee,
Thanks again for the welcome!
Best Regards,
Ramiro
