Atlassian provides the Content Report Table widget that shows a list of all pages using a specific label (or one of a selection of labels). This is great for creating an index to more easily find like pages (such as those that are process related). It shows the page, the creator, and when last modified. However, we need it to show the page *owner *instead of creator. Many of our page creators are no longer with the program, and one contributor has passed away. Since we can control who is set as the owner, we need to see that so we can always show the current person responsible for the page.
Interestingly, if you go to *All content *for a site, Atlassian will show all the pages, the owner, and when last modified. So, it should be straightforward for them to tweak the *Content Report Table *to either do the same, or offer an option to show either creator or owner.
Confluence is extremely useful and heavily used. By its nature, however, pages are created organically and don't often follow a useful folder structure, which can make it hard to find what you are looking for. By using labels and the content report table we can organize like items in content report table directories and pages that support multiple areas can appear under multiple directories. However, there are many pages and it can be difficult to understand if a page has the most up to date information on it. If the page in the content report table references a creator who is no longer on the program then people may often assume the page is out of date... even though the owner of the page is up to date.
Hi @Kelan R. Whan ,
Thanks for the writeup. Maybe our free addon Keep it up to date! can help. It allows you to list pages with specific labels and shows the page owners. To list all pages, you should set the amount of days to 0. However there is a maximum of 50 pages the addon shows.
Additionally the addon shows who last modified a page.
Hope this helps.
