We’re approaching the end of October, and Halloween is just around the corner. With the change of seasons and the new year getting closer, our team is focused on making sure we hit our shared goals, to collaborate without complication, and have a little fun while doing it.
Last month, we asked our community ‘what does productivity mean to you?' We loved the flood of answers that came through, here are some highlights:
When the Atlassian community feels productive, they…
Have a sense of purpose and impact
Stay focused, positive, and have confidence
Feel better about their work and themselves
Our takeaway? Productivity drives teams forward - and yes, that translates into getting work done, but it also raises team and personal morale. And we have good news: Atlassian’s cloud products are purpose-built for the way modern teams work together. On cloud, you can feel confident that you can easily collaborate across your organization - without compromising security or compliance. If we had to sum it up: on-premise, you’re busy. On cloud, you’re productive.
To that end, we also asked our community what features in Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket make them feel most productive. Here’s a mix of answers, as well as some of our own additions.
To feel productive, collaborative, and connected, I…
Cross-functionally manage and plan project with Jira Advanced Roadmaps
Organize, and more easily find, my work in Confluence with improved search, ‘create from anywhere' features, and Confluence planning templates
Use Automation in Jira, Insights in Confluence, or use Pipelines in Bitbucket
‘Work from home…and phone’ with Atlassian Cloud’s mobile capabilities
Integrate Jira with Slack, Teams, and Jenkins to reduce context switching and stay focused
Use Jira Service Management’s embedded Knowledge Management base to promote communication and continuous improvement
Thanks for sharing, and congratulations to our Cloudie ☁️ winners for sharing their tips.
