Insight Discovery - Data Residency?

We are a bank and have stringent guidelines when it comes to cloud data residency. We want to use Insight Discovery as our CMDB too however we are not getting the clarity in terms of data residency with this tool.

Being in Australia the preference is to hold all the data within Australia with the data-pinning option; However not all the data can be pinned. Hence there are two questions that I want answers for -

1. Where is a data held for Insight Discovery?

2. Is there a data-pinning option available with Insight Discovery?

Thanks.

Hi @ARabade ,

welcome to the atlassian community!

If you are planning to use a Standard, premium or enterprise subscription you can choose where your data will be hosted (US, Europe or Australia). Take a look here for further information https://www.atlassian.com/software/data-residency

Hope this helps,

Fabio

Hi @ARabade ,

AFAIK Insight Discovery is a scanning tool, which collects data from your enterprise network and store them as files to your infrastructure. You can import these files to Insight, which is part of Jira Service Management Premium cloud, where you can choose Data residency (Australia should be available).

So, I believe you should be ok according to data residency.
