Will there be option to change the Language from English(US) to English (UK)

Despite the default language being English (UK), AI seems to be defaulting to English (US). Does AI support English (UK)? If so how can we change it? If not, will it be supported in the near future?

Atlassian Intelligence inherits the language settings from the product. Once the product language is set to English (UK), AI should follow this preference in its interactions. If you’re finding that Atlassian Intelligence is defaulting to English (US) despite having English (UK) set as your preferred language, here are a few steps to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:

  • Admins can adjust the default language for all users in the product settings. Ensure the organization-wide language settings are configured to English (UK) to maintain consistency. 
  • Check personal language preferences in your profile settings by Atlassian product (Jira, Confluence, etc.). Verify that your personal language preference is set to English (UK). Sometimes, the settings may revert or not be applied correctly.

  • Clear cache and cookies as bowser settings can sometimes interfere with application settings. 

Atlassian continuously improves its AI capabilities. If English (UK) is not fully supported or defaults correctly in all aspects, it is likely that future updates will address these issues as the platform evolves to meet diverse user needs.  Language translation is currently in beta.
