Say we want to use AI in JSM. We use our Confluence as a source of knowledge. How does the system determine whether content can be shared with whomever is asking the question?
Same with Confluence AI? Could a user get answers to a question based on a Confluence page that user does not have access to?

Hi Daniella!
Is that the case? The AI functionality will take into account the user's permission to show the pages the user can see? Even if those are restricted pages, but only for that user, the pages will still be taken into account for the answer?
I think I was told before, that the answers would not search or take into account restricted pages, in general.
Hi @Alfonso Leiva
I'm Izzy, the product manager looking after our 'smart answers in search' feature
Thank you for your question. The smart answers in search feature will search and return answers from pages that you have access to (including pages that are restricted to others but visible to you).
This means that two users asking the same question may not see the same answer if they don't have access to the same pages.
I hope this answers your question!
