Does Atlassian Intelligence have access to Attachments in Jira?

Hi everyone,

I have a question related to how Atlassian Intelligence processes (if this is the case) attachments. Maybe this was already answered but I couldn't find any information about this.

The issue we have is that some teams share attachments with some PII data that we don't want to be read by the AI. Is Atlassian Intelligence using the text coming from the attachments in any way?

Hi @Giovanni Melai

There's some trust information on Atlassian Intelligence you can check out - see: https://www.atlassian.com/trust/atlassian-intelligence

Otherwise, I'd contact Atlassian directly to get their response; you can do this via: https://support.atlassian.com/

Hi @Ste Wright,

thanks for your feedback. Yes I already read that page but I couldn't find anything related to attachments in particular.

I'll create a support ticket

Thanks

@Giovanni Melai I don't think so.

AI is limited to the use cases it is built for. Ai is not activated until the user clicks on the fireworks like icon.. AI is enabled for Description and comments field. Any content that is built using AI is likely exposed. In my opinion and experience of testing AI so far, attachments wouldn't be read by AI unless you explicitly entered the content to update or rewrite attachment content in description field or comments field.

Am curious what @Atlassian has to say.
