Atlassian Intelligence & Rovo features update

Hi there, I’m Sahar, the Principal Program Manager for Atlassian’s AI features. I work hand-in-hand with our product teams to ship awesome AI features to boost your (and our!) productivity. I’m super excited to share four recent releases with you that we’re loving and I think you will too.

1. Use Rovo Agents in Your Automation Rules

Whether you're in Confluence or Jira, you can now automatically include any of your Rovo agents in your workflows with Atlassian Automation. For example, you could create a rule to have your Rovo agent analyze customer feedback in Jira, publish a page in Confluence, and then share it in Slack.

Note: To use Rovo Agents in Atlassian Automation, you must have a Rovo-activated site and be a global, project, or site admin. If you want more information, you can find that here

2. Bookmarks bulk upload for admins

Bookmarks allow admins to help their users find authoritative content easily by highlighting custom URLs at the top of the search results for specific search terms. This way, admins can help their users find exactly what they’re searching for in seconds.

With the new bulk upload feature in adminhub, admins can now effortlessly upload multiple bookmarks at once using our easy CSV template. Save time and get users finding what they need quicker!

Note: To use the bookmark bulk upload, you must have a Rovo-activated site and be an organisation admin. For more information, all the details are here.

3. AI Ops: Suggested Resources & Related Ongoing Incidents

When there’s an incident, every second counts. To this end, our AI Ops feature now pulls up similar incidents and PIRs from JSM and relevant knowledge base articles from Confluence. This means users can quickly find solutions from past and related incidents without wasting time searching, recovering faster and speeding up the incident resolution process.

4. Jira issue reformatter

Back in July, we shared that Jira's issue reformatter was available in open beta. I’m happy to let you know that as of December, it's now in GA with added AI quality improvements. If you haven't tried it yet, now's the perfect time to dive in and give it a shot!

We always appreciate your thoughts and feedback on these updates, so please give this post a thumbs up when you use the feature. And if you have suggestions on how we can improve these features, we'd love to hear from you!

Hi, I am interested in the bookmarks feature. Is Rovo required for using bookmarks, and are bookmarks set at the space or instance level?

Thanks,

Dave Lines

Hello @Dave Lines ! I'm Izzy, the PM for the bookmarks feature.

At this stage yes, Rovo is required to get access to bookmarks. Bookmarks are set on the site scope that Rovo is enabled for (Rovo is enabled on a per-site basis)!

Let me know if you have additional questions!

Best,

Izzy
