Lost domain validation

I just lost my domain validation. How do i see what happened to cause this? All of my users received an email saying that their account was no longer managed. I quickly re-established the domain validation and it kept the SAML configuration that we had established. This is really a bad look for me as the admin.

My asks: Where do i find logs to see what happened?

How can I insure this doesn't happen again?

It may have to do with your domain TTL or some SSL cert if you're using https method or something, that caused the domain to be unverified. You may want to check with Atlassian Support and see if they have any logs on this.
