Resolution of videos included in Atlas project updates

Atlas team - What expectations should we have with the resolution of videos we post in our project updates to stakeholders, clients, and internal staff? Should we be using specific file types, encodings, and resolutions so that the videos don't look horrible? We're currently on the "Free" Plan and perhaps you have some tiering of bandwidth and quality. Obviously, we could look into embedding videos hosted elsewhere.

Why?
My product team just posted an update with a new feature demo video and, while users can download the video and see the full resolution, when playing it from Atlas, it's so pixelated that is make me question including videos in our updates.

Update as I was drafting this question: While I was typing out this question, I noticed a newer copy of the video replaced the initial 640x360 video with a new 1280x720 video that is now ~usable but text is still pretty grainy.  Perhaps Atlassian's Content Delivery Network (CDN) provider does some progressive optimizing of video, as resources are available.

Details on the video (I can't share it):

  • Original:
    • Recorded in Zoom (mp4)
    • Dimensions: 2560x1440
    • Codecs: QuickTime Text, H.264, MPEG-4 AAC
  • In Atlas (Initially)
    • Dimensions: 640x360
    • Codecs:QuickTime Text, MPEG-4 AAC, H.264
  • In Atlas (15-20 mins after posting)
    • Dimensions: 1280x720
    • Codecs:QuickTime Text, MPEG-4 AAC, H.264
